The quality of the materials seems to be pretty good, sturdy, without being too overbuilt. I would say that this bag is a PERFECT size for me for EDC as it is large enough to carry around everything I need daily, it can accommodate some extra stuff if I choose to pickup some extra things during the day, and it's not large enough to become a huge burden when I really need to just grab my bag and get moving. It's been a real pleasure to get into this bag, and I'm really liking the size and useful yet minimal organization of the bag. Here is how I'm rolling around with'er today as well as what I currently have inside. I would guess that the Teflon fabric protector coating on the bag would have something to do with that. When it came out of the bag it was shipped in, it did have a pretty strong chemically smell to it when you stuck your nose up to it (one that was noted by amazon reviewers as well), but over time I've notice that the smell has faded and it isn't an issue any longer. Here, I present to you my thoughts and feelings on my first and favorite (so far) bag purchase of the new year!
